Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

Sharing Christ. Changing Lives.
How we "do" mission at FBC.
Mission has always held a special place in the heart of the First Baptist Church community. Our commitment to helping those in need is reflected in the quilts and blankets we create for survivors of local disasters and the Christmas shoeboxes we fill for Operation Christmas Child. Additionally, we offer food and gas assistance to those passing through our area, recognizing that sometimes even a small act of kindness can make a big difference. It is truly a blessing for us to minister to thousands of people who visit Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains.

10 x 35 Project
The 10 x 35 Project is a simple way we care for children in our community who may not have enough food over the weekend.
For some families, caregivers are working during mealtimes. For others, tight budgets mean difficult choices between paying bills and buying groceries. Whatever the situation, we want children to know they are seen, valued, and supported.
Children are recommended to FBC Pigeon Forge through local school administrators. Each week, we prepare and deliver bags filled with easy-to-prepare meals—items that can be eaten cold or heated in a microwave—along with snacks and drinks to help carry them through the weekend.
The best part? We can feed one child for an entire weekend for just $10. Through careful planning and wise purchasing, our mission team has stretched those dollars even further—growing from serving 25 children to now providing weekend meals for 35 kids.
It’s amazing what God can do with faithful generosity. If you would like to be part of the 10 x 35 Project, we invite you to join us in making a difference—one child, one weekend at a time.
