FBC Women

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Proverbs 31:25

We, the women of FBCPF,  are constantly seeking ways to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. These days we need each other more than ever. We at FBCPF believe that women are an integral part of the life of the church and community. They can be strong leaders who participate in worship, lead Bible studies, prepare for luncheons,  respond to the grief-stricken, and help in a myriad of other ways. Their service is a testament to their faith in Christ as they proclaim His word through their words and actions.

For more information about opportunities to serve at FBCPF, please email info@fbcpf.org.
Starting Tuesday, November 11, at 10 a.m., Mrs. Gale Adams will lead a monthly class for ladies through January. Each class is open to all women in the community and includes a prayer time, a devotional based on a selected book, and a lunch of finger foods, fruit, and dessert. Invite your friends and family!

Bring your Bible. No books will be necessary.

Sign-up  for the meeting and lunch on the sheets in the back hallways of the sanctuary and fellowship hall. You may contact Beth (beth@fbcpf.org or 865-453-4647) to add your name to the list.

Future meetings are on December 9 and January 13.

* If schools are closed for bad weather, the church will close. We will reschedule our meeting when weather permits. *
Our book in November:

"Legacies of Light: Modern Heroes of the Faith"
by Stephen Davey

"The Word of God is filled with biography--one character after another, parading across the stage of redemptive history. It's quite obvious that God loves to teach lasting lessons through the lives of individuals. With that in mind, Stephen has undertaken a special biographical series, illustrating biblical truths through the lives of contemporary believers; men and women who provide for us a wonderful legacy of light."
