We started the 2025-2026 school year with a mission to give weekend food bags to 25 local students who may not have a hot meal over the weekend without our help.
We asked members to donate $10 to feed a child for a week. Mission Team members and friends stepped up to help to purchase, organize, fill, and distribute the food bags each week.
By Christmas, we had increased to 35!
By March, we were handing out 50 filled food bags!
Instead of constantly changing the number in our name, the FBC-Pigeon Forge Missions Team decided to rename the program TIGER PACKS, signaling our willingness to grow even more. Pigeon Forge schools' mascot is the tiger.
With frugal planning and purchasing, we can still feed a child for about $10/week.
This school year, we plan to distribute over 1,700 food bags to kids who need them.

A New Year, A New Goal!
During the 2026-2027 school year, we plan to deliver 50 bags per week or 1,700 bags!!!

Hunger doesn’t take weekends off—neither should we.
Helping local students with weekend meals
Did you know many children in our community head home on Friday, unsure when they’ll eat their next meal?
We are stepping in at a Pigeon Forge school to meet this need through the 10x35 Project.
For some families, caregivers are working during mealtimes. For others, tight budgets mean difficult choices between paying bills and buying groceries. Whatever the situation, we want children to know they are seen, valued, and supported.

Each week, we prepare and deliver bags filled with easy-to-prepare meals—items that can be eaten cold or heated in a microwave—along with snacks and drinks to help carry them through the weekend. School administrators help us get the bags to the children who need them the most.
The best part? We can feed one child for an entire weekend for just $10. Through careful planning and wise purchasing, our mission team has stretched those dollars even further—growing from serving 25 children to now providing weekend meals for 35 kids.
It’s amazing what God can do with faithful generosity. If you would like to be part of the 10 x 35 Project, we invite you to join us in making a difference—one child, one weekend at a time.

Here's how you can make a difference
$10 provides one student with meals for a weekend.
$500 provides meals for 50 students.
Together, we can make sure no Pigeon Forge student goes hungry over the weekend.

Your generosity ensures children are not only fed but also cared for and encouraged.
In addition to giving, volunteers are needed to help pack and distribute the food bags. You can volunteer here.
