If You Had One Wish, What Would It Be?

I know, it's hard to think of dandelions when the temperature is hovering
around 30 degrees, but there's a point to all this. Trust me!

(Be sure to play the videos as you go!)
(Forget the image of those weeds in your lawn; they're just flowers in the wrong place!)
It's Sunday morning. You get dressed, grab that cup of coffee,
and head to First Baptist for Bible Study and worship.

You are the happy yellow dandelion opening up and
basking in the sun that is fellowship in Christ.

A bundle of sunshine in the midst of a world of darkness.

Did you know that ...

Dandelions represent resilience & strength? Their ability to grow anywhere, even in concrete, makes them symbols of overcoming adversity and surviving challenges.

Then it's MONDAY! Maybe you go to work on Monday morning. Maybe you are retired. Either way, you are dragging just a little. Because it's MONDAY!

You want to hug yourself close and keep the world out, but
you're changed inside. You have a need to open up to reveal
something special, the potential to share little fluffs of love with the world.

You're the moon reflecting Christ's light in the darkness!

Did you know that...

The transformation, the journey from a bright yellow flower (sun) to a delicate seed head (moon/stars), signifies change, growth, and self-development.

Your week is going great! You've managed to keep it all together when the traffic in Pigeon Forge is crazy, and the line at the Chick-fil-A is way too long.

Despite all the frustrations, you smile and wave as you catch
the eye of a fellow traveler at a red light.

You've thrown out stars of joy and seeds of hope in a world that really needs them.

Did you know that ...

Blowing the white seed head to make a wish is a universal tradition that symbolizes hopes and wishes carried on the wind.

What our world would be like if we did this every day?!

What if we helped others become happy little dandelions?

Imagine those seeds of hope and joy spreading throughout our community - even worldwide!

If a wish upon a puff of dandelion seeds really came true,
what would you wish for today?
