Lottie Moon Christmas Offering & Week of Prayer Begins Soon

Praying for our international missionaries.

The Lottie Moon Week of Prayer begins on Sunday, November 30.

Each year, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Week of Prayer helps us refocus our hearts on God’s global mission. As we begin this special week, we join with churches across the nation to pray for the missionaries who serve through the International Mission Board (IMB)—men and women who share the hope of Jesus in places many of us will never go.

Gets your kids or grandkids involved!

This week is a wonderful opportunity to involve the next generation:

  • Pray together as a family each day for a featured missionary.
  • Find the country on a map and learn about the people who live there.
  • Read stories or watch IMB videos that show how lives are being changed by the gospel.
  • Give together to the Lottie Moon Offering—let children contribute a small gift or earn money through acts of kindness.

As we pray, learn, and give, we’re helping children and teens understand that they are part of God’s great story—sharing His love to the ends of the earth.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” — Romans 10:15

News from the TN Baptist & Reflector

More stories and photos from the 2025 Summit will be in the Nov. 19 edition and on the B&R website, but here are a few highlights:

  • Sunday night kicked off with a message from incoming TBC president Dan Spencer about Jeremiah 32.
  • Monday's meeting was followed by an impactful sermon from Jeff Iorg, president and CEO of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, about God's mission.
  • Outgoing TBC president Jay Hardwick delivered his president's address Tuesday, which focused on "being a Barnabas."
  • Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the TBMB, reported high CP giving amid economic challenges during his Tuesday morning treasurer's report.
  • Historic first: TBC now has vice presidents for each of Tennessee's three grand divisions.
