Help Feed Pigeon Forge Students Through the 10x25 Project

Did you know that many children in our community head home on Friday uncertain of when they’ll eat their next meal? We are stepping in to meet this need through the 10x25 Project.

Hunger doesn’t take weekends off—neither should we.
This ministry provides weekend food backpacks—each filled with six nutritious meals—so that students can return to school on Monday ready to learn, not hungry.

Here’s how you can make a difference:
  • $10 provides one student with a weekend’s worth of meals.
  • $250 provides meals for 25 students.
Your generosity ensures children are not only fed but also cared for and encouraged. In addition to giving, volunteers are needed to help pack and distribute the food bags.

Together, we can make sure no Pigeon Forge student goes hungry over the weekend. Please join us in giving, serving, and spreading hope through the 10x25 Project.

Fall Rod Run returns September 11 - 13

Start praying now for our Rod Run Parking for missions and community outreach. Our ministry via free Rod Run parking and the Prayer Station makes a huge impact on our community visitors. Donations received for the parking supports mission projects throughout the year.
At the Prayer Station, volunteers like John F. and John W. are there to pray with folks, share words of encouragement, and sometimes simply listen with a caring heart. Though quiet and simple, the Prayer Station has become a meaningful way to share Christ’s love and be a gentle witness to the rod run community.
Volunteer sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board in the hallway behind the sanctuary.

Wellness Campaign Wraps up with a Challenge

Getting involved matters—
for your spiritual, mental, & physical wellness. ?️??

First Baptist's Wellness Campaign ended with a final blog post on Wednesday with a challenge for churchgoers:

Get involved!

"Just as the body, though one, has many parts, so it is with Christ." —1 Corinthians 12:12
Readers are encouraged to find their place in the church community and learn to serve others, just as Jesus did. He didn't avoid getting His hands dirty, nor did He shy away from the poor, the helpless, or the "unchurched." His example is one that we are charged to follow as members of the body of Christ.

2026 Budget Information

It's that time of year again when we dream and plan for the next year's activities and events.

Committee leaders, please submit any budget items or increases to Wendy by the end of September. She is working with the Finance Committee to create a budget for next year.
